BiTAC electrolyzer is a type of old design, Zero Gap Retrofitting can obviously decrease the cell voltage. Our first batch of BiTAC Zero Gap Retrofitting had been operated more than 8 years. The long term cell performance and membrane lifetime is satisfying.

In the meantime, replace the old anode titanium flange with Ti/Pd alloy flage during BiTAC anode remesh. After using Ti/Pd alloy flange, no corrosion on anodic flange after 8 year running.

Due to the special structure of BiTAC, only putting a mattress and minimesh on the old cathode can't get long term good performance. Some works have to be done also. This is our special technology.
